End of Week 9: Share resume with advisor and discuss potential credit areas. Check with the Office of Special Programs to ensure that all transcripts and other records have been properly received. Utilize “Workplace Effectiveness: Critical Thinking Skills” CD.
End of Week 10: Write a report (2-4 pages) that discusses at least two separate instances where interaction did not yield a pleasing result. Include in the reportwhat each side was trying to achieve during the interactions and suggestions as to why they were not successful.
End of Week 12: Apply knowledge gained through CD. Use the questionnaire as a starting point for a critique of the CD and discuss its strengths and weaknesses. Submit this report to the writing professional for feedback. Continue Week 10report by analyzing book and journal information that can be applied to the previously discussed interactions.
End of Week 14: Provide report (2-4 pages) that lists results of analysis and makes college study recommendations, addressing such questions as: 1) what courses should be taken; 2) how can communication skills be monitored; and 3) are the communication skills of a college-educated person expected to be different from other educated persons?
